What is The SoCE Law?

The Kansas Minor Microbusiness Act (The SoCE Law) is a proposed bill designed to give Kansas youth ages 6–16 the opportunity to start and operate microbusinesses safely, responsibly, and without unnecessary red tape.

This legislation promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills while ensuring parental involvement, tax compliance, and safeguards for kids and communities—all at zero cost to the state.
