This month the Society of Child Entrepreneurs hosted our March Madness Pitch Contest, giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business ideas through recorded video submissions.
Students created and submitted short pitch videos explaining their business concept, product, or service. Each pitch was evaluated by three anonymous judges, helping ensure a fair and unbiased scoring process.
To celebrate the courage it takes to step forward and present an idea, every participant received a $50 prize simply for submitting their pitch.
Top Overall Pitch
Melody E. earned the $100 grand prize for delivering the strongest overall pitch. Her presentation demonstrated clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of her business idea.
Emerging Entrepreneur Recognition
Two additional young entrepreneurs were recognized for their creativity, initiative, and strong presentations.
Zoey S.

Why Pitch Contests Matter
Pitch contests are more than competitions. They are powerful learning opportunities that help children develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Through experiences like this, students learn how to:
• organize and communicate their ideas
• present confidently to an audience
• receive feedback and improve their thinking
• take ownership of their ideas
At the Society of Child Entrepreneurs, we believe children are capable of remarkable things when they are given the chance to try.
Congratulations to Melody, Zoey, and Brooklyn. We look forward to seeing where their entrepreneurial journeys take them next.
