We Built SoCE Circle (and Why It Matters Now)

The days between Christmas and the New Year are quiet in a different way.

The rush pauses.
The calendar resets.
And many parents find themselves noticing things they were too busy to see before.

A child sketching a new idea at the kitchen table.
A notebook full of plans.
A question that starts with, “What if?”

For years, we’ve watched children step into leadership through entrepreneurship at lemonade stands, craft tables, business fairs, and community events. We’ve also heard the same question again and again from families and educators:

“Where can this keep going?”

That question is why we built SoCE Circle.

Children Are Leaders Now

At the Society of Child Entrepreneurs, we believe leadership doesn’t start someday. It starts the moment a child is trusted with an idea, a problem, or a responsibility.

Entrepreneurship gives children a real-world way to practice:

Decision-making
Communication
Confidence
Problem-solving
Resilience

Not through worksheets alone, but through doing.

Yet leadership growth doesn’t happen in one event or one season. It needs space, support, and community.

What Is SoCE Circle?

SoCE Circle is a leadership community for child entrepreneurs and the adults who guide them.

It’s a place where:

Children can connect with other child entrepreneurs
Parents and educators can share strategies and ask questions
Leadership is practiced through entrepreneurship and real-world learning
Families can engage at the level that fits them best

Everyone is welcome in the conversation. Some members access lesson plans and tools. A smaller group helps pilot and shape what we build next.

There’s no pressure to be perfect. This space is about growth.

Why Launch Now?

January is a natural reset.

It’s when families think about what they want the year ahead to hold. More confidence. More independence. More purpose for their children.

SoCE Circle opens at the start of this new chapter because leadership development isn’t a resolution. It’s a practice.

Join Us on January 12

We’re officially opening SoCE Circle with a live Zoom Launch Party on January 12.

During the launch, we’ll:

Share why this community exists
Walk through how SoCE Circle works
Talk about what’s coming next
Answer questions from families and educators

If you believe children learn best by doing, we’d love to welcome you.

This isn’t about building perfect businesses.
It’s about giving children space to lead, learn, and grow.
